I managed to paint for an hour this evening and do a few more clouds. They do hide the curve which adds a natural shade line:
That lower section I painted will only have this much showing when the mill is in. I did the paler clouds on the right this evening and they have come out better.
I have this lower sky on the right to do next and I will try and use some white spray paint I’ve got to paint the wispy clouds. You can see the general shape is long and thin so fingers crossed.
