I decided to get on with the last part of my AP Motive Power – a completely scratch built locomotive. I want to do something simple so whatever it is I will base it on the insides of one of these, Underground Ernie:

The board has a plug for a chip so I might even put some sound in:
I also got my J-2 out of its box and mended the back tender steps which had got knocked off when it was judged at the NMRABR contest.
