The kit forums challenge is on. Whether I’ll get much done by the time it ends on 4th July is a debate but at least I’ve started. I’ve stained my wood! I drew up some rough plans and found my window/door stash. As I want this to be a fully scratchbuilt building for my NMRA AP structures certificate, I’ve decided not to use them but they were useful for sizing purposes.
I also dug out a man to go along side the hut (part of the challenge rules).
First I scraped the wood with a zona saw.
I then sliced the wood and particularly the ends with an xacto blade to provide some extreme weathering.
