I stained the wood last week and finally found time to sit down and work on this project. I spent an hour cleaning up the already excellent castings. I mounted them and sprayed the first side with flat black.
The stone roundhouse castings and etch are on the left; you can see that there are fewer pieces:
I then started to cut the stone roundhouse wood to size and glued a couple of pieces together. My NWSL copper doesn’t seem to do very vertical cuts so I hope this looks OK on both sides.
