I spent a few more hours on the crane and finished the uprights:
I added dents where the NBWs sit using the point of a compass. I can never cut them off the sprue with an entirely flat back so this helps locate them. I then add a spot of white glue with a cocktail stick.
Here’s the finished supports.
I’m never quite sure about the best way to glue 3D structures together but here’s a few squares holding it all together. The centre supports have yet to go in.
