Having wired my turntable tracks up (well nearly) I decided it was time to weather my turntable. Let’s hope it still goes around when I’m done!
This is my barrage of weathering materials:
Here’s the wet turntable with a few bits of grass, cinders and black grout thrown in for good measure (not forgetting to masking tape the zero sensor and central hole):
I dribbled weathering washes and enamels around the outside and then used a brush soaked in thinners to drag them down to a finer streakier finish:
