I know I’m at a train convention and I did get over there three times today to talk to people, pop in and see what Modelling with the Masters is up to and mooch around a bit.

However, I also managed to persuade Joel Priest to go and see Transformers 4 with me. I loved it but then I do have a lot of transformers models…
From the mall outside the cinema, you get an excellent view of a canal. It’s amazing the size of boats going up it:
Cleveland has some excellent modelling inspiration with the roads above the trains:
I also went on the dinner cruise along the lake shore and up a river. It was really interesting and I met some new people including one lady who is the modeller in the family.
