Day 11 – Track factory

This morning was the Cleveland track factory. This was an excellent tour but no pictures inside I’m afraid.

Here’s me and Tim Warris geared up before we go:

I schlepped back to hotel for a welcome sit down before the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic dinner train. The Convention had hired the whole train and we ran along through some beautiful scenery:

The back of the train was a Budd car which, when the train was returning, the engineers on it acted as a set of eyes for the loco.

They needed to clean the windows first!
