Adding Ground Cover to your water diorama

Adding Ground Cover to your water diorama

This week we are looking at putting on a base layer of ground cover on your diorama.  This is a very necessary part of any diorama and forms the basis for everything that goes on top.

Tools and Materials

You will need the following tools and materials to add this next layer to your diorama. I’m not affiliated with any of these suppliers:

  • Tile Grout – easily obtainable from any DIY store in a huge variety of colours.
  • Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or rubbing alcohol – I buy mine online in bulk 5 litre bottles then I decant it for ease into smaller bottles.
  • White glue – I’ve used various brands and now just fill up my bottles with cheap PVA from the DIY shop.

    1. Hi Rodney

I was travelling and so set it to schedule the blog. It worked last week when I tested but didn’t this week!

Anyway, thanks for letting me know – I really appreciate it and it should be posted properly now.

      Kathy
