How to Model Bulrushes using Busch plastic models

This week we are looking at bulrushes again but this time using a plastic injection moulded kit from Busch: Rohrkolben (# 1256).  They are quite flat but can be put on your in place in a couple of ways that make them look quite real when massed together.

I painted the rushes with a mix of Vallejo Golden Olive and Tamiya Olive Green plus brown for the flowering section.
