Sorry to burst you bubble Kathy, but they are not all streetcar wires! There is hydro since the is now place to bury the wires, everything in the downtown core is suspended from poles. In your picture there is Hydro wires(AC), Telephone wires(DC) and Cable TV wires (Combination AC/DC) and then of course there is the Street Car wires (DC)
