This is a beautiful little railway. I visited in 2010 and we caught the train out, did a walk in the hills and then caught the train back. A delightful day in stunning Lake District scenery.

Your photo is one of the best I have seen of a Ratty engine at Dalegarth and I am pleased you like our little railway. I have to admit I don’t visit it as much as I should but the times I do, I really enjoy the visit. Regardless of the weather its a great little railway to visit.
