Photo of the Week – Urban Inspiration – Hong Kong I
I’m lucky enough to have friends in Hong Kong who I have been out to visit. Hong Kong is one of my favourite cities. It’s interesting, different (to my eyes), beautiful and alluring. It has high rise sky scrapers surrounded by green hills. It’s beautiful.
It has inspired me in so many ways from my Optimus pictures to starting me off on Halo. That is all quite a sci fi theme and that should be no surprise as Asian cities have long been the blueprint for futuristic sci fi movies. I suspect it started with Blade Runner but at least my photos are missing the rain (even if I didn’t).
