Photo of the Week – Urban Inspiration – Hong Kong III
This is an iPhone panorama and it sums up a typical street scene in Hong Kong. I spent a lot of time wandering around looking for the Jade Market. The map was a little vague! I did walk up some interesting back streets though.
Interesting photo. One is struck by the familiarity of the scene, at least at street level. It puts one in mind of “Chinatown” USA, at least as far as the one in Los Angeles California is concerned. The signage is interesting for someone modeling contemporary areas like this.
I suspect that Chinatown, USA, has its roots in China and Hong Kong hence the similarities.
There are so many uses for photos like these aren’t there.
