Noch Snow and Ice
Using the mini dioramas that we built as test pieces (check the video out here), we’re testing out the range of Noch snow and ice products. There’s a huge variety of products and they also come in starter kits if you just want to dabble. They do more than just snow with a couple of ice products available too.
Overall, I really liked a few of the products, powdery snow, snow paste and icicles. I also learnt a lot about how to apply them. Like everything, they need a bit of practice so I’ll know what to do when I get to my larger snow and ice dioramas next year.
The Final Result
It’s amazing the results you can get with just a few products. I think some of these need a bit of practice to look really good (my icicles certainly do) but they have a lovely shimmer which gives life to the ice.
