Modelling with Snow Powders and Flocks
Snow products tend to fall into two categories:
- Flocks and Powders
- Pastes
This week we’re looking at snow powders and flocks. Next time will be snow pastes.
I’m still undecided on snow flock as it is a grass shaped fibre – basically it’s the same as static grass – but generally a little shorter in length. From a distance it looks great, really close up, it looks like a fibre. You need to decide whether you will be looking at your work up close in a macro lens or at a distance. If it’s the latter then snow flocks look great.
